    Chicken Pot Pie/saved

Wow what a great recipe for sure. I did increase the chicken to 4 cups LOL family needs to see the meat for sure. I used leftover roasted veggies and Bovril Chicken Concentrate as I could not find my cubes. Will be making again for sure.

Nice photo, Nadine! We love chicken pot pie, but my pie crust recipe didn't work well with the one recipe I tried and we don't like the ready crusts. What kind of crust did you use?

Hi used a store bought pie crust. This one is Pillsbury Pie Crust which I picked up from the fridge section on the grocery store. I rolled the bottom crust to fit the pan. Left the top one alone. LOL I can not make a good pie crust and this brand has been the only one which I do enjoy a lot.

    Thanks Ml2c.

That looks delicious! I don't think I have ever made chicken pot pie before. I actually like Pillsbury pie crusts. I think they taste great and they sure are convenient.

Oh Franieanne up until a couple of years ago neither had I. But with Pillsbury coming out with their great pie crust having doing them.

Thanks Bren. LOL happy that I am not the only one who cannot do a crust.

Hmmm, I may have to try the ready crust again. I haven't bought one for years because we thought the one I tried tasted hard and lard-like, if that makes sense. I have a good pie crust recipe that works well for dessert pies, but it didn't seem to work for the chicken pot pie I made. We only like a top crust on pot pie, so maybe the ready crust will work well enough for that.
