Chicken Spaghetti

    A recipe from Wynnebaer Chicken Spaghetti

    I have been wanting to try this but with our hot weather, I haven't been using my oven..so I tried this using my crock pot:) It was delicious! I did make a few changes, I added chicken tenders along with some chopped onion & minced garlic, a little evoo, 1/8 to1/4 cup (guesstimate) of water....cooked until the chicken was almost done. I then added the rest of the ingredients except the cooked spaghetti, sour cream & milk. I cooked for about 2 hours on low, then added the cooked spaghetti, sour cream and 1/2 cup of milk, mixed and cooked for 15 minutes longer..I topped with grated Parmesean. We loved this Corinne, very creamy and flavorful! I will be trying your oven method when the cooler weather arrives:)

    I actually got the idea of using the crock pot from what my Mom has told me,,,several times in fact..she said you can use your crock pot for almost anything you would normally cook in the oven..
    Mr. P, I had never had chicken spaghetti either! What I liked about this recipe, there wasn't any Velveeta in it..most chicken spaghetti recipes have Velveeta! Yuk:)

    Corinne, yes, we enjoyed your dish very much:) I can't wait to try it using the oven though,,perfect meal to have on a cold winter day:)
