Recipe by Lil_coop: Cream Chicken With Rotini
Went shopping for the ingredients for this recipe. Tried that new store in town. Over $5 for chicken breast or tenders. OMG, that's more expensive than steak! Will be looking for a different store for chicken anymore.

I don't blame you Points! I would never spend that much on chicken either!

Do you have a Costco near you? I always buy my chicken there...cutlets are $2.49lb and they're trimmed up really nice! They're packaged with 2 cutlets per pack and they're bundled in packages of 6.

I buy all my meats there! They have great prices on pork, chopmeat and even fish!

Nothing like that here in this tiny town. Best place for price is Walmom's, but I lothe going there for the traffic. Just don't like crowds.

    Bland!......................Bland, bland, bland.

Only change was I used chicken thighs instead of breasts because of the fowl price.

Maybe some frozen peas or other veggies and some cream cheese will turn this into a chicken pot pie without the crust.

You guys go ahead and try it. Maybe it was just me on an off day. We'll pull up some kind of consensus. That's what this site is all about.

    LOL..."because of the fowl price"...

Oh yes...I see what your saying Points! Maybe when sauteing the chicken, it needs to be seasoned with salt and pepper. That might help.
