Crispy Pork Steak With Asian Slaw
I'm not the biggest rice fan so I didn't do that part, plus we wanted a nice light summer meal so between the cutlet and the salad it was perfect.
It was only the second time I've ever purchased Napa cabbage. Works so nicely in this recipe. The dressing for the slaw is amazing. I actually only put in 1 tsp. of Sriracha instead of 2 as my Mom doesn't care for heat and I made a wise choice. :)
The only other thing I didn't do was garnish with cilantro.
I bought boneless pork loin rib end chops and pounded them into thinner pieces. Crusted in the egg and panko and browned they were tender and juicy.
Liked the hot crunchy pork served on top of the cold spicy slaw. Good juxtaposition of flavours and textures.
An all round really super yummy recipe. Thanks so much Tina!

That's a delicious looking picture! One thing I haven't tried is Napa cabbage. That salad dressing looks good.
I got that double picture posting just last week on something!
Are you going to link back here? :)

Oops....forgot to link it Frankieanne. Shall do in a sec. :)
I'm totally sure if you wanted a quick cheat that you could use a bag of coleslaw mix in place of the Napa cabbage and grated carrots and I'm also sure you could use regular cabbage as well. But I did truly enjoy the Napa.
