    A very delicious dish, but very bland .........WITHOUT THE SALT........... You know I had to add some!
    Doubled the recipe. Took a half head of cabbage. So I can do this again. : )
    Doubled the time with a lid on to help wilt the cabbage. Then added 10 more minutes with the lid off to thicken things up because I added a pint of cream instead of a cup.
    It is colorful with the carrot. Forgot to add any vinegar per Otterpond's comment.

    Interesting the recipe reads "pepper to taste" but no salt. Wonder if that is an omission. Seems cabbage needs salt. Maybe she thought the bacon would make up for it.
