    Recipe by Mystic_River1: Farewell Chicken/saved
Liked the flavors. A little liquidy in the bottom of the dish. Could see my way clearly to use it to make some gravy.
I'm prey to not wearing glasses at the food store again. Picked up a can of sweet potatoes instead of white potatoes. It still turned out good.

Glad you said they were sweet potatoes as I thought they were carrots. Wonder why its called "Farewell Chicken"? Weird name! I like the color the sweet potatoes add to it.
I hate taking my glasses with me to town, but I have paid for it as well and now I make sure I have them with me at all times. I hate that!

Oh my gosh, I HAVE to have my glasses on while shopping, actually I need to wear them at all times:) Sounds really tasty, especially with sweet potatoes!

The one thing I have had the most trouble with accepting as I get older is the fading eyesight. Really irks me. I love to knit and even with my glasses it seems harder to see what I have to do!

Glasses were in my pocket. There were cans of whole potatoes stacked right next to cans of cut potatoes. The color grading looked the same. So I chose the cut ones for convenience. And they do taste good in the recipe.
The extra liquid is quite congealed in the fridge. Not sure gravy is the way to go.

Have glasses located at 4 positions in the house and one in the console of the car so I can slide a pair on when needed. At a dollar a pair from the Dollar Tree store it's nice to have that option.
