How did I miss this when we were going through our "Potato Chip Phase" Frankieanne? When I read the recipe title I grimaced a little as I initially thought of cold fish and chips (fries) being reused in a sandwich but as soon as I read "Potato Chip" my tune changed. :) I adore tartar sauce and pickles so I think this is a must try for me. :) Thanks so much for bringing it to my attention and your picture is lovely.

Ha:) I also thought about your guys potato chip phase when I saw this post of Frankieanne's! I think the crunchiness of the chips would be awesome in a fish sammie:) I love your review FA..you said it all in 4 short sentences:) Your pic IS lovely..your pics are ALWAYS lovely!

    Awww, thanks, ladies. :)
I found this using "cod" as a search ingredient. Yes, we did miss it in the potato chip phase, Janet. haha
The chips did stay pretty crunchy. I used "kettle cooked" chips and they are a little thicker so I think that helped with that.

cool recipe!! I was expecting the fish to be dredged in chips then cooked in the pan, so I was surprised that it's crumbled up with the chips! I agree that red onion would probably go good in this. Were you out of pickles, or just not a pickle fan? Briauna despises pickles and can smell them from across the room lol :)

Dill pickles are way too sour for me but I do like those sweet gherkins. I can eat those by the handful. And I love sweet pickles in macaroni or potato salad. Gotta have 'em! But, for some reason, I don't like pickles on a sandwich or burger. Too funny about Bri's pickle sensitive nose. :-)
