    Forgot The Dough Pizza Dough
This is a good pizza dough but I kinda miss that kinda sweet yeasty taste from "real" dough. My rolling pin is at my mother's house (long story) so I tried using a drinking glass but just ended up smooshing it out with my hands. Used Bestcooker's (Bakerme's) marinara sauce for the pizza sauce and it worked great. Spaghetti Sauce Three Ways
Not certain what the tablespoon of oil was for on top of the dough but I used it anyway.

I love short cuts like this, especially when you don't have time to let yeast rise! :) It looks great FA!

Reference how to make focaccia bread. It always has oil on top of it.
It helps with browning and keeps the dough soft. It also seals the dough from getting soggy from water out of the other toppings.

That does look delicious!! I love yeast pizza dough also, but this sounds great when you don't have very much time, bookmarked :)

Your photos look fantastic, as always, Frankie! Looking at the instructions, I'm not sure about the olive oil, either, but, as long as it worked out in the end and you enjoyed your pizza, it's all good.

Hi, Marie and Points. Long time, no see!

How did I miss this one?! Beautiful photo, Frankieanne! Makes me want to take a bite! Will have to try brushing the top with oil to see if it makes a difference. I can see it making a difference if you prebaked the crust, but not so much when if you put it on and then smother it sauce and other toppings.
