Recipe by Miss_ems85: French Onion Chicken/saved
    A well flavored chicken!
Used some of my homemade dry onion soup mix.
Baked 20 minutes on a side to bring it up to 165F. Could have used a little more time to get the drumsticks 100% done.

Hmmmm, that looks interesting. I've haven't heard of French Onion soup mix. Is is the same as regular ol' onion soup mix? This looks tasty. Thanks for showing us!

I don't know if there is a difference. It tastes just fine with my home made onion mix.

I did this with steak once a long time ago. This is an easy enough recipe isn't it?

Beats the horsefeathers out of me!
I would cut the breast fillets in half and beat them to the same thickness so they would get done at the same time and watch the time/temperature.

Must have to do with the fat. Maybe the fat takes the powdery-ness out of the soup mix.

Could always spray them after coating.
