    Garlic Shrimp Pasta

    I made this last night and tweaked the recipe. I chopped half of a sweet onion as well as 1 red bell pepper. I also used one small package of sliced bella mushrooms. I "cubed" the shrimp too.

    I put the onions and peppers in the oil first to get them soft. Then adding the shrimp. Once in there I added some white wine, parsley, sea salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes.

    The recipe does call for parsley flakes but I didn't use the whole 1/4 cup. I also used only 2 teaspoons of the red pepper flakes because I am a weakling when it comes to hot stuff.

    Because I added more veggies, I added more wine and butter to the broth.

    Everyone loved the dish and left nothing on their plates!

    No problem. I think next time I will add some diced tomatoes and an orange bell pepper (instead of a red one) to add more color and flavor.
