Golden Corrals Bourbon Street Chicken Copy Cat
I put chicken on to marinate last night while I had the bourbon bottle open for the salmon. You definitely can taste it here! I had three boneless, skinless thighs so I cut the sauce amount in half. The sauce thickens up nicely in the last five minutes of cook time. I'm not sure how Golden Corral serves it (I've never seen one of those around here) but I served it over a box of Rice-a-Roni I needed to use up. I think it definitely needs to be served on something for the sauce. It sure comes out a pretty color! Thanks, wynne!

Your photo is beautiful, Frankieanne. This is one of my guys favorite dishes and that's how I serve it, over rice. So delighted you enjoyed it.

Yes, Mr.P, I am trying to keep up with ml2c.
    :D (jk ml2c)
I guess between the brown sugar, soy sauce, bourbon and sitting for a bit the meat gets a brown/red tinge to it. I also did super macro with my camera so that may intensify it even more. Still - not too far off in the color.
