Ingredients

How to make it

  • Preheat oven to 350
  • Mix soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic, ginger, onion and Bourbon
  • Add marinade and chicken to zip bag and marinate (over night is best ), turning bag occasionally
  • Put in baking dish in single layer and bake until done. 40-45 minutes, basting every 10 minutes
  • Remove chicken and set aside
  • Scrape pan juices with all the brown bits into skillet
  • Heat to medium heat and add white wine
  • Stir and add chicken
  • Cook 5 minutes

    I've never had Golden Corral's dish so I don't know if this is a copy or not but it was good! You definitely can taste the bourbon. I think this could be cooked for as little as 40 minutes. I had three thighs so I cut the sauce in half. Served it over some Rice-a-Roni. I didn't feel like cleaning up a pan tonight so I lined my pan with foil. Thanks for posting this!     I love a bourbon sauce - goes so well with chicken, too. I'll think of some way to use up that extra bourbon...hmmmm...yes, I'm sure I can find a way!

    Is that a brick or a dog biscuit ???? Ever eaten one of those ? They're not too bad, but tend to make you want to chase cars '-)
