Grilled Sriracha Chicken

This recipe from Justjakesmom was simply delicious...just the right amount of spice and very easy to prepare, I used some bone-in thighs and b/s chicken breasts and marinated for about 5 hours...we will be making this again & again..Thanks Donna for the great grill recipe!

This is on the short list, here, too, for the summer.... how easy is that???

I think maybe I'm a stingy bookmarker... I have 305 recipes bookmarked, 175 of which I've already made... I don't feel overwhelmed when I wander into my book mark section... I think I need to add more. ;-)

    ha!

I know... it's cus I'm kinda strict on which recipes I bookmark...that's why I don't like the "does this look good" option...lots look good but doesn't mean I'm likely to make them. That doesn't make a recipe bad, it's just my own personal preference.

I love to create new things... I do so at least a few times a week....so, when I'm looking for a recipe from someone else, I'm most interested in things I haven't had before, or different interpretations of a more common dish.... I TRY to make recipes from others that are fairly original, or, at least their original take on a popular recipe. I usually don't make ones that are directly from another site or a cookbook, cus I can find those easily, too. :-)

That doesn't mean anything other than that's prolly the reason I don't have a ton bookmarked...if I bookmarked every one that looked good, I'd be in the over zealous bookmarking club... hehehe... but, most of my bookmarks I honestly plan to make. I'm half way there.

Oh, and it's kinda like the toy exchange lots of parents utilize...I make sure if I go on a bookmarking binge that I make at least a couple outta the list, too, to even it out. My goal when I started 4 years ago was to try to never have more than 200 unmade recipes in my bookmarks. So far, so good! :-)

You are discerning alright Keni. I, on the other hand, could not care less where a recipe comes from. If it is from a cookbook or another site, the back of a label, or in the grocery store circular, doesn't matter. If I haven't made it before and it looks like something yummy, I bookmark it. I've had wonderful fun and success trying out recipes from GR and have really expanded my repertoire. Bring them on I say! :)

I think that's the way most people are, Chuckie.... just like those who collect cook books. :-) Nothing wrong with that, at all... it's just not me. The only cook book I own is an ancient Betty Crocker one with my grandmama's notes hand written in the margin. I don't watch cooking shows, either.... just different that way...among plenty of other ways, I guess.

But, the good news is, one recipe from my bookmarks was made, today, and another this weekend.... I'm on a roll. hehehehe

Yeh, Keni,I would say you are different in Plenty of ways :) But like others I get carried away when I start browsing recipes and get click happy. I find that I shouldnt browse when hungry. Same for shopping. I end up with all kinds of stuff I would never eat or make and later have to cipher thru and remove. Guess Im weird that way

    Delicious.... as expected :-)

I just left a review on the page with the pic.... there are already two threads about this easy and delicious chicken, so I didn't wanna start another.

We will make this, again.....with more heat.

Made this pretty late last night. Half way through I ran out of propane. Nothing open to refill after 9pm. Had to finish the other side on the stove top. Chicken only has grill marks on one side. Still was excellent. This time I doubled the sriracha. Great recipe. Didnt add a pic this time. It looked the same as the last pic I posted. Thanks for the reminder NPMarie and again for a great recipe JustJakesMom

This is becoming a very popular recipe! I don't blame you on the heat Keni! Even my daughter who used to hate anything remotely spicy is loving the stuff now! SO happy!
