    Grilled Sriracha Chicken

I made these last night. I used 7 b/s breast. Used dijon and the liquid smoke. These are great. I LOVE sriracha sauce. I also marinated them over night. Mine didnt turn out as dark as the recipe photo. They were a nice shade of pinkish red. Grilled 7 min each side at around 600. These will be a regular. Thanks Justjakesmom for a great recipe

Thanks, DT. And, yes I did. I always do. I like thighs but seems like they are just as expensive as breast. I used to use thighs all the time to make Adobo. Over the years I slowly phased them out. I need to get some though. I really like teriyaki thighs. Havent had them in forever

I can't wait to make this! Just recently was introduced to Sriracha. I put it on just about EVERYTHING! Love it!

Thanks MP, I'm glad you liked them. I have also made them with b/s breasts, but hubby prefers the thighs.
(here they are WAY cheaper - .99 lb. compared to 2.99 at Costco.)

Thanks, ML2C. I finished off the leftovers today. Its even good cold. I will be trying this again soon. I never thought of using sriracha as a marinade. I have always just used to put it on things right before eating.

    Thanks again, JustJakesmom

I know it says "grilled" in the title but I roasted mine in the oven. I halved the recipe for 4 thighs but I did reduce the amount of Sriracha more than half as I was concerned about making it too spicy for my beau. I also added some orange juice b/c I tasted the marinade before I put the chicken in and again, I was afraid of it being too spicy. I was thinking about putting honey in but thought it might make for a really messy clean-up and was too lazy to deal with that. I also added some olive oil (b/c of my cooking method). It was very tasty, just as I suspected! :-) Added my pic.

DT, your pic looks great as always. Did it come out too spicy for Mr.DT?

Mr.DT hehe... it was a tad spicy for him but he had cooling bleu cheese dressing on his side salad so it was OK. Thanks about the pic :)
