These were so easy! i had to add an extra Tbs of peanut butter because it was a little thin. Still didn't match up to the picture, but tasted good. I just shaped these with my hands then stuck the skewer through the middle. I cooked these on a baking sheet with a rack thing (forget what their called) over foil for easy clean up. Very yummy!
Pleased you enjoyed these ML2C. Indeed your sauce looks a lot thinner than mine ever does. I use 4 generous tablespoons of peanut butter to the one cup of water. Initially it's watery but the more you cook it the more it thickens up, so much so that I often have to thin it out again with more water. I don't use an actual measuring spoon for the tablespoon, I just use a tablespoon with a fair amount of peanut butter on it. I call my pan a broiling rack. Never thought of using foil in the bottom. That's an excellent idea. Love your picture. :)
Yes it was thinner but you know what? I didn't get to cook it very long....Briauna had dance and I had to make it quick so that's obviously what it was. The extra peanut butter definitely helped and it tasted great, so that's all that counts!
