    Guinness Glaze
This was interesting. I don't know what to do with the leftovers though. I think its a bit much on its own. I see the poster says there is a glaze used on a burger but I'd be leery to do that with this stuff because I think I'd get a soggy burger bun! Anyway - it was good on my salmon.

Would it be good basted on chicken thighs? Hmmm...that is a very straight forward sauce...so how many Guiness cans do you have left? :)

I think this would be good but cooked more than the poster says. Recipe instructions say to use as a glaze just before removing from grill. But, I think if this was cooked more, as in the oven, and allowed to caramelize and thicken up and get all sticky on the meat, it would be better. Its very strong. I doubt that kids would like it.
I have four. I am using two today in something so stay tuned. :)

Thanks, Keni. Its kinda fun for me to look for the recipes to use up the stuff with. I'm making a recipe of a pal of yours tonight, so check back. :-)

Guinness and a pal of mine... surely that's a marine I know and love...??

Not that I don't have other pals that use that brew, but odds would be in his favor

    Can't wait!

Could you freeze it Frankieanne? And then use it next time you want to glaze something? I'd think it'd be nice on ribs or something too wouldn't it?

I guess I may as well try freezing it as I don't have anything to put it on this weekend. Thanks for thinking of that! :)

Frankie, There doesn't look like there is much in the recipe for the glaze that would go bad even if you put it in a jar and left it in the fridge for a week or two.
