You'll have to forgive me, but I'm not going to be able to rave about it like you have. :) It was very good and the peppeoncinis did put a different taste in the meat - kind of like a smokey type thing, I thought. I kind of missed some herbs and/or spices though. I did put the garlic cloves into the meat. Maybe it is just a matter of taste. I have a lot of leftovers to use up though, which is nice. Thanks so much for suggesting this. :)

    Did you use a rump roast? I used a 12oz jar of pepperoncinis and 4 large cloves of garlic cut into small pieces and stuffed into slits all over the roast. I wish I lived near you because I would definitely love to have the leftovers! I make the beef barley soup with it.

    I thought for sure anyone would love it! It reminds me of a really good corned beef sandwich.

    I'm so sorry you didn't love it as much as I do! :(

    Hey there, lillian. Like I said, it may just be a taste thing. Believe me, the leftovers will be eaten. I am going to make beef and bean enchiladas with some of them tomorrow. Had a sandwich for lunch. Don't get me wrong - it was good. I rated it a 4. Oh - and yes - I used a rump roast, too. :)
