    Hi Frankie! No, its not hot if you buy the ones that don't say hot on the label. I use a 12oz jar for a 3-4 lb rump roast. I also used about 4 large cloves of garlic cut into slivers aqnd stuck into slits that I made in the roast. So easy and so good! It really melts in your mouth! Tonight I'm making the Beef Barley Soup recipe out of the leftovers...another easy and delicious recipe!
