Italian Sausage Soup

    Recipe by Mbouchersr: Italian Sausage Soup
    A well flavored soup especially warming on this day starting off at sub-freezing.
    I did use a standard can of chopped tomatoes instead of 1cup. My best guess is it is a typo.
    My rice ratio seems to be larger than the author's pic.

    15 minutes then a few more minutes when the spinach is added gives the rice 20 minutes or more, which should be done. There is plenty of liquid.
