Made this last night. It came out really good, I especially liked the potato chip-bacon topping. next time I will add crumbled bacon in the mac. as well, as I really liked the taste it gave to the noodles. Posted 2 pics under her main one.

I can tell this is amazing just by the ingredients...Wow, lots of good stuff in there! I'll have to try this for a gathering when there are lots of guests to help me eat it, because I know I won't be able to stop once I start eating this! LOL!

Saved this recipe. Potato chips tear up my gums. Wondering if I should mix up a bag of Fritos corn chips in the pasta to soften them up. That might be a nice flavor combo.

I used Pringles chips (sour cream flavor). They fall apart and are soft on their own. Crush them fine, and they shouldn't give you a problem. You could probably try mixing the Fritos in the pasta. I don't know what would happen, they should soften, I think. Sounds like an interesting experiment. If you do make this, use the sharpest cheese availiable, it contains the most flavor. Also, I added just a tiny amount of hot sauce and didn't taste it, so add a little more heat if you like it richer/spicier in flavor.

Oh Points...I don't think the Frito's is a good idea! It might be over powering and extremely salty...and not to mention that heavy corn flavor!

If anything, i wouldn't mix a whole bag of those in, maybe just a little.
