Marinara Sauce

    Recipe by Elainez: Marinara Sauce/saved
    This is a wonderful sauce; after I doctored it a little.
    Added quite a bit of salt. Eyeballed, didn't measure. Added a Tbsp Italian herbs and a little Italian seasoning.
    Made it with approx half pound tomatoes, 12ea.
    One and a half onions. I've tried before to saute the onions until they were transparent to no avail. : ) Settled for translucent with a little browning around the edges.
    Cooked on med-lo for the first time then simmer for the second time.
    It's a very thick sauce, just right for spoon eating.
    Served it over Mostaccioli.
    Say Mostaccoli with marinara fast three times. : )
    Made this recipe to use up some Pesto that I made for another recipe but forgot to use.
