Midglet's Slow Cooker Bourbon Chicken

  • mrpiggy 11 years ago
I made this over the weekend using 6lbs of b/s breast. I had to make some BBQ sauce as I didnt have enough. I added some chipotle powder to the BBQ. For the rub, I used a spice called "Slap Ya Mama Cajun Seasoning" I also added chopped garlic. This was really good. A nice smokey sweetness with some heat. This is a super easy recipe with a lot of flavor. Thanks, Midge for a great recipe

I've seen that spice in the grocery store before and seen it called for in recipes. Guess it's good? This sounds easy enough, and that picture is amazing!

Points, there is also a Slap Yo Daddy seasoning. Havent tried it tho. But the Ya Mama stuff is really good. It comes in hot, regular and white pepper. I want to try them all

That looks really tasty, MrP. I like the addition of the garlic.
I've never seen Slap Ya Mama Seasoning here in Northern California but I did see it in Branson, Missiouri while I was there last year. Must be a regional thing.
