    Mock Prime Rib
I don't get the "prime rib" part of this. Its a roast in some flavorful broth. But, I didn't pour the broth over the roast though. I saved it in a bowl and will skim off the fat tomorrow. It tasted good though. A bit more detail on the recipe.

I love a good Beef roast. Don't know that I would like it in the crockpot necessairily as I do like mine pink inside. Checked out the recipe and see
    1 can Swanson's Beef Roast
I have no clue what that is although I'm guessing it's some sort of Beef broth? Now I read down the page further I see Tina had the same question and came to the same conclusion.

They had to have meant beef broth...I have never seen that roast stuff they are talking about. Okay I have had Prime Rib dozens of times at steak houses and I can see this not even close. I know, I know she said "mock" but when it's so far off, that's not fair. On a better side this probably is a good pot roast!

Not my cup of tea with the "envelope" but I'm sure it's a fine roast.. no way is it prime rib like, though. ;)

Yes, Chuckie, it had to have meant beef broth. You can kinda figure that out from the directions.
Well, to be fair, I heated a slab of this up along with some sauce (or whatever it is) and poured it over the top as instructed by the recipe. Its still not close to prime rib and I ended up with another piece of bread slapped on it. This is an au jus/French dip kinda thing.
Its four stars "good" but I won't make it again.
