It was a rainy, dreary day yesterday so I figured making cookies might improve things. Had a craving for a crunchy,, chewy oatmeal cookie. Decided on this recipe....
Chewy Oatmeal Raisin Cookies
The flavours are great. I was just shy a few raisins so threw in a small handful of dried cranberries to make up the delta. I added the optional nutmeg.
The recipe is great and the cookies are very tasty. It didn't have the crispiness I was looking for but that's just a matter of trying another recipe. And one can't make too many cookies....jus' sayin'......:)

Looks good! I'm not a raisin lover, so bought some chocolate covered Craisins that I want to try in an oatmeal cookie. And you're right, you can never have too many cookies!
