Old- Fashioned Country Green Beans

  It's all good! Mother's stamp of approval!
  Green beans fresh out of the garden.
  Came out to spec.
  Did put a lid on during simmer times. Went to a soup pot. My largest saucepan just isn't big enough.
  Did put the onions in to sweat right after the bacon was almost done.

  That recipe looks great. I've been wanting to make it for a while. I haven't grown green beans in a while due to water restrictions/garden cut-back. I guess I could buy some but it wouldn't seem the same. That bowl looks like a full meal to me!
