Oven Roasted Broccoli

I have broccoli running out of my ears and needed a different way to make it. Loved the panko and I realized I need to bake broccoli more often! I usually saute but baking really does make vegetable flavors stand out so well :)

Thanks Frankie! Asparagus is probably the vegetable I roast the least, lol! I always just automatically throw it in a pan with some butter without thinking about it!

OK I have a question. Is there a difference between bake and roast. IE oven baked chicken or roasted chicken. And saute and fry?

Roasting is usually done with a higher heat than baking. Also, baked chicken, for example, is usually all cut up and has other things in the pan with it - sauce or something like that. When you roast a chicken it kinda sits up higher off the pan so the heat surrounds it. I think of baking at 350F or 375F. Roasting is 425F or so.
To saute you cook something in a small amount of oil over high heat very quickly. It is a form of the French sauter, which means "to leap or cause to toss." Frying uses a lot more oil and the cooking time is longer.
