Recipe by Browneyegirl: Peanut Butter Rice Cripies Bars/saved
A nice snack that takes the edge off in-between meals.
Made 12 snack sized pieces in a squared 9x9 pan.

First try at it I used a bag of marshmallows that had been setting in the pantry for a couple of years. They didn't melt, just browned. Trip to the store was in order.

You were right in not adding any sugar. Plenty sweet.
They are crumbly just a little around the edges when cut, so make sure it is pressed into the mold well.
It's a good healthy snack if you don't account for the sugar in the marshmallows.
My little bread monkey likes it. She has had 2 pieces already and gone back for a third, pretty much making a meal out of it instead of a snack.

That's gotta be a record for making a newly posted recipe, pso. I didn't realize you liked peanut butter so much. How could I have missed that after all these years? :-)

That's the reason why I didn't add the sugar. It is sweet all right.I gave the rest to my mail carrier just today.Yes it is crumbly around the edges when cutting. That I agree with what you said..Don't get me wrong. It is a good snack.

I've been thinken about another recipe.I don't know when I'll get around on making it though.I've been feeling depressed here late lee.The holidays is getting to me and I have no family to share it with.

It's for mother. She's the peanutbutter lover. I just happened to have all the ingredients on hand...............well except to go the store after the aborted first try at this recipe. And it is a convenient snack to keep me out of the fridge between meals to help me shed pounds.

Frankieanne some people tends to miss recipes some time. That's the way I look at it.In my family we love Peanut Butter.Pointsevenout my dad's side of the family really "LOVED" peanut butter. When you said that you had all of the ingredients on hands.I was thinken to myself that I must've hit the jack pot 4 you.It has been a diffult time for me 2 try to loss the weight but I've mannaged to loss 35 pounds though in 2 yrs. It's slowly going off but not quick enough.

NPMarie it is very yummy but you don't want to eat too much of it.To me I thought that it was rich.Thank you.I thought that it was a great ideal though when I was thinken about it.I've tryed to do my best when it comes to photo's.The lighting in my rental home isn't enough lighting.I wish my home had alot more lighting in it.
