I saw Marie's post on pierogies last week and it inspired me! My family would never eat sauerkraut (I would though) so I made this one! I used Thai vegetable pierogies from Trader Joes. This was awesome! I did do a couple things different. I steamed my pierogies for a couple minutes while I cooked the onion, then threw them in with the onion instead of removing the onion. Also I forgot to buy the green chilis so I broiled some jalapenos until black and removed the skin and chopped. Threw some peas in cause I had a nice bag from the farmers market. Served this with a crusty bread....YUM!!!

Your picture is gorgeous ML2C. I have never in my life heard of chilis and lime in a perogy recipe before....EVER. That's hilarious. And it actually also sounds good.

I don't know that I've had a pierogie. Those look like potstickers to me. :P I love the picture!

Here's the only link I could find on the difference between pierogies and potstickers. Don't see what's different too much anyway. http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20120318111611AAXq1WM I looked up pics on both just to be sure and they look exactly the same. I like both though, even if named different!
