    Chicken, Chorizo Chickpea Stew

Even though the calendar says it's winter, Alabama hasn't quite made it, yet ... still, though, I try to cook for the seasons, so I am making hearty, cold weather dishes. This one qualifies, I think. I did need to add a lil heat for some 'umphh" for us, but we like things spicy, here, for sure.

I didn't serve this with orzo, just bread. The orzo would have been fine, but not needed, I don't think. :-)

Oh, and, by the way ...the pic .... yes. That's celery. Added with much love to both MP and P7O. ;-)

That looks good with that mighty pretty celery leaf, Keni. Nice and healthy. : )

Is chickpeas the same thing as garbanzo beans?

We are finally experiencing winter here. Been raining all weekend. Gotta love that rain. The sound and smell.......and it brings out the froggies

Lol with the celery leaf Keni! I would agree the orzo would be not needed in this. Looks so good though!

Yes Mr. P it's the same thing! Good job at figuring this one out on you own! ;0)
