    Portuguese Lamb Chops
My dad has been raising sheep since I was a teenager so I've been eating lamb for over 40 years. I always cook it the same way - broiled with dried rosemary, oregano, garlic powder and salt and pepper. Believe it or not, this is the first time I have ever tried lamb in a different way! It was very tasty and it cuts some of that "lamb" flavor that a lot of people don't like - although I personally love it. I was too lazy to start the charcoal so I broiled it. :)

hehe I suppose it may seem that way, pso, but I love the taste of lamb so I'm kinda a "purist." No mint jelly in this house! :)

I admit I've only had lamb once and I cooked it myself. I breaded it in something and baked it way overcooked and we weren't fans...we hated it, my fault probably lol! What's the rule on lamb? MR-Med? Mine was WEEELL done, uuughh.
Yours look so pretty! Like the simplicity...

I like mine medium rare, ml2c. Still a bit of red. It gets tough and dry if it is well done, in my opinion. I've always broiled or grilled my lamb, too, and I don't go by the temp on the meat thermometer. That's too done for me!
