This was the best pulled pork I ever had!!!! Very easy, simple ingredients! Bakes in the oven in 3 hours! Shred and top with your fav BBQ sauce...a must!!!

Full review and photo on the recipe :)

I always have a disaster with trying to get shredded beef for sandwiches...I think I buy the wrong cut or something, but never thought of doing it with pork! Hopefully my grocery store has pork shoulder!

We make up 100lbs (yup that's ONE HUNDRED POUNDS) of shredded pork every year for my brothers huge Halloween bonfire. We use smoked pork loin and my own BBQ sauce... we let 'em roast in the sauce for about 12 hours in 5 of those large roaster ovens for whole turkeys...

it's quite a task, but it's SOO good! :) There's generally 200-300 people there, and there's never a drop of the pork left...even with all the hundreds of other dishes there, too..the meat's always the main attraction...food wise, at least! :)

Mommy...as long as you have enough liquid in the pan and you cook it a long time, it should shred! The crock pot works great for that because it cooks low and slow! Don't give up...its so worth it!

Keni...200-300 people! That must be a fun party!
I love the smoked pork idea!!! I'll have to see if I can get that next time!

Don't get it, silly, make it! :)

We smoke our pork loins over the course of about a week in all our slow cookers...we shred them....I make the sauce about 2 weeks ahead...then, the morning of the cook out, we add 'em to the roasters.

Yeah, he throws a huge one every year at the end of the training/breeding season, as a big thank you to all his empolyees...their families all come...it's a great time. :)
