What do you do with the rest of the can if you just need a Tbs or so? Can they be frozen or refrigerated or what?
Yeah, I know some of you use the whole can at once.... :-D

Looked for recipes that made homemade smoked jalapenos and adobo sauce. At the quantities made it is cheaper buying from the store.

I have not tested the lifespan of a can of open chipotles yet. When I put a partial can in the fridge, it calls out to me. That stuff is good in tuna sandwiches, egg salad sandwiches, or mixed with cream cheese and minced onions as a dip. Even in scrambled eggs. Oh, and Wynne's Grilled Chipotle Flank Steak . Or Keni's Chipotle Grilled Shrimp, which I havent tried............yet : )

Thanks for pointing that grilled shrimp recipe out, MrP. I plan on opening up a can of chipotles in adobo over the weekend. That looks like a good one to use some of them up on. :)

What I do is process them and then put the puree in a small snack bag or I use an ice cube tray and freeze it. When I want some chipotle, I then cut off what I need or pop a chipotle cube in to the recipe.

Thanks, Wynne. I appreciate it. I may do that if I can't use them all up.
    Thanks for stopping in! :)
