Grilled Chipotle Flank Steak

A favorite around here.
Ingredients
- 1small onion, quartered shopping list
- 1 clove garlic shopping list
- 1/2 cup chili sauce shopping list
- 1-2 chipotle chiles in adobo sauce shopping list
- 1 tbls. olive oil shopping list
- 1 tbls. lime juice shopping list
- 1 tbls. brown sugar shopping list
- 1 1/2 tsp. cumin shopping list
- salt to taste shopping list
- 1 1/2 lbs. flank steak shopping list
How to make it
- Cook time does not include marinade time
- In processor, chop onion and garlic
- Add chili sauce, chipotles, 1 tbls. oil, lime juice, sugar, cumin, and salt
- Process until smooth
- Marinate beef in mixture at least 3 hours but overnight is better
- Grill steak over medium heat on grill 3-4 minutes a side
