Rabbit In Tomato Sauce
I bought a rabbit yesterday from some ranchers that live near my parents. This was super delicious and I definitely will make it again. I only cooked one piece of rabbit because I knew that was all I could eat. The sauce is wonderful and you could easily substitute chicken. I have seven pieces left. I hope I can find some other recipes here.

I understand people not wanting to eat rabbit. I grew up on a ranch out in the boonies and we ate a lot of different things. My mom even cooked up a huge rattlesnake my dad killed one time. It was up on our front porch. We had bear one time as well from a neighbor. We ate bunches of venison when I was growing up.
I'm not much on killing things. If it was me against the world, I would probably starve. I can't even kill a spider. I scoop them up in a drinking glass and take them outside.
No, rabbit isn't gamey. It is actually very mild as it is very lean. You have to cook it just right or it will be dry.
