Since we have been doing to good for the past couple weeks eating at home and following our new way of eating (Paleo) that I decided to reward us and splurge on some lobster!! This was so good! I even bought some grass-fed butter (accepted on Paleo) so I could stick to the recipe, and what's lobster without butter?! My sprouts were pretty big, so I cut them into quarters. I used 3 lobster tails (4 oz. each) which I steamed for about 4-5 minutes. The lobster was perfectly cooked, PHEW! The bits of garlic were yummy :) Served sweet potato cakes on the side, what a dinner!!

When I first looked at the large picture on the recipe page, my first thought was, "That looks disgusting". Then I realized yours was the little thumbnail pic below and, when I enlarged it, I thought, "Wow, that looks good!!!". Well done, you!

Thanks ladies :) My main worry was over cooking that lobster! I read some where it's supposed to be 1 minute per ounce when steaming, so I thought 4 minutes, but since I had three of them I added a little extra time. I also figured if they were under cooked when I cut into the meat I could throw them in the saute pan for a second with the onions and garlic, so that's why I liked this recipe for my first try at lobster:) Thank you Patrick!!!!

That looks really good! I like the fact that it doesn't have some kind of sauce. Its still nice and healthy. One thing I have never done is steam any lobster. It looks like you did good! :-)

I'm always so relieved when so done tries my recipes and they come out good, haha. I'm so glad it came out good. I make this one a lot. Add some chopped, crispy bacon for added texture/flavor.

I agree Frankie...no need to hide the delicious lobster with sauce! I love the idea of bacon in this Patrick... It would definitely be a great addition!
