Smoked Paprika Roasted Salmon With Wilted Spinach
This was really good! I used smoked paprika because of its title although the recipe just reads paprika. I was a little skeptical of the cinnamon when I was measuring it in, but it added a nice little after taste that I really liked! I didn't have any orange peel. I suppose the recipe could read "one orange" because you could probably get 1/4 cup of juice out of an orange and then you would have the peel as well. I kind of packed on the rub rather than just rub it on. I wanted to really be able to taste it.

Thanks! It was really good. And how can you argue with a recipe that says "line pan with foil." :-D

I really need to get some salmon. That looks so good. Did it crisp up some with the sugar on it? Did it taste cinnamon-y? That seems like a lot. I love spinach with fish, too. Thanks for the heads up

What a great picture. I have a family favorite recipe that calls for cinnamon and fish and it never comes across as sweet but intensely deliciously flavored. Cinnamon has an undertone that adds a subtle nuance to a savory dish. sounds great to me.

Undertone is a great word for what was going on in this dish with the cinnamon, nym. Perfectly said.
I had wished it had crisped up a bit, MrP. I even thought of cranking the heat up to 425. I kind of like my brown sugar a bit burnt. But, I stayed with the recipe. This time anyway. :) I do think this recipe could handle 425F.
