    A good biscuit recipe. Nice sourdough flavor. Very nice rise. This is the kind of biscuit I put under some gravy, which I did.
    I added the II to the title otherwise this sites software would have kicked this discussion back into a previous string with the same name.
    Made this recipe with a fresh batch of Butter and used the resultant buttermilk as a sub for the milk.

    Possibly more baking powder. Less likely, butter instead of oil. Other less likely, greater temperature. That's why I'm making your recipe again, slightly tweaked.

    Points you can always title something "name of recipe" from "name of submitter" then it won't get confused with other threads :-)

    I knew that. Thought about it. Saved myself some keystrokes this way. But then I guess that the explanation took away from that. Then again, putting the name of the author in the title would keep me from doing it again in the body of the comment. We'll see if I can remember to do that next time it happens.
