This is a recipe my daughter (Qwikdraw9) told me about a few months ago, raving about how good it was. Being her mother, I worried that she didn't know what she was talking about...silly me! I was concerned with the amt of vinegar in it, but I shouldn't have worried. The pork shoulder came out deliciously moist and so tender it almost melted in your mouth. I served it on toasted hamburger buns with some Sweet Baby Ray's on the side - I forgot about the cole slaw, but it would have been a very nice addition (I like my pulled pork with cole slaw piled on top), and I will definitely have it next time I make this. My husband liked it so much he ate a plate of seconds with just the meat piled on his stack of mashed potatoes! Highly recommend - great pulled pork.

It's a good recipe. Waiting on the buns to bake. Added a cup of the liquid back into the shredded pork plus a half bottle of Bbq sauce.

Used a bone-in sirloin roast for this recipe. Cut off the fat cap to rub the roast, placed it back on top so it would render out while the roast was baking.
One can tell there is vinegar in the mix but it is way subdued.
