Sparow64's Mexican Pizza Squares

    I made Lori's
    Mexican Pizza Squares/saved
last night and it was excellent. Very fresh, great flavours, tastes like summer!
Lori's recipe used Pilsbury Crescent roll dough as the base and I subbed a Boboli pizza crust. Next time I do it I'll use the Pilsbury dough as it would be softer and I felt the Boboli crust was a tad chewy.
I loved the taste of the Taco seasoning mixed in with the sour cream. Really yummy! Loved all the garnishes on top, especially the olives! Some fresh coriander would be nice sprinkled over the top as well!
This will be a really nice appy for company out on the back deck when the weather gets nicer!
    Thanks Lori....Great recipe!

I just made a pizza very close to this one last week from AR. This sounds great with the sour cream. Nice picture!

I was looking at this, but I don't care for sour cream. Do you think I could stir the taco seasoning into the beans and forget the sour cream?

Was your pizza from AR served hot or cold ML2C?
Frankieanne.....I'm not a huge sour cream person myself but it was awesome in this. How about subbing it with yogurt? It did add a creaminess which was really nice. Would be a bit worried it you just added the seasoning to the beans that maybe it would be too dry? Maybe if you added a tad bit of salsa instead? Think Nacho Dip on top of a pizza crust.

It was served cold. Here's the link to the one I made. http://allrecipes.com/Recipe/Taco-Pan-Pizza/Detail.aspx It actually does have sour cream and guess I forgot about it lol!
