Stuffed Bell Peppers For Two

Recipe by Donman: Stuffed Bell Peppers For Two
A no frills meatlovers dish. Not modified with a lot of filler like rice or bread cubes. A nicely spiced meatplug wrapped in a veggie.
Didn't have the tomato sauce. Used a small can of tomato paste modified with catchup.
Cutting a hole in the bottom is a nice detail for drainage if using a fattier cut of ground beef. Used it to square up the bottom of the pepper so it would sit up nicely on a plate.
Not sure how much the bread crumbs gave to the plate. Could probably leave them out all together without notice.

It has been pointed out to me that the bread crumbs would play a greater role if I had used the proper topping. As is, the tomato paste and catchup topping gave the stuffed peppers a nice heavy tomato twang. But my apologies for not having the tomato sauce on hand for more fidelity to the recipe.
