Szechuan Green Beans

Yum, Yum these are very good green beans! I weighed my green beans (11 oz.) and tried to make everything work from there. I basically just tried to guess a little less than called for, but I did leave the garlic the same :) I didn't pull out my wok for this and did not feel comfortable cooking my garlic on high heat for even a second lol so I went lower. I used a Szechuan salt and pepper blend I have, seemed appropriate. Delicious green beans! My beans were greener than they look, the light was too bright in my kitchen lol!

Those look super yummy Michelle! I've been making Edamame as a side recently and sprinkling a little Szechuan salt over top before serving but this recipe kicks that up a few notches. Bookmarked to try and your picture is great!

Gorgeous picture. Those do look yummy. All your talk of weighing things has made me think I "need" a scale but not certain about trying to cram another kitchen gadget into my small space. I should get rid of another one first!

Thank you Janet and Frankie. You could probably leave out the sugar too, the chili garlic sauce has a hint of sweetness. I love my food scale. We use it for all kinds of things not just food lol. The kiddos like to see how much their small toys weigh :)
