Teresas Lettuce Wraps

This is very tasty! I did the cooking process a little different. I started the chicken and about halfway through cooking I added in the carrots, green onions and garlic and cooked until the meat was done and the carrots still slightly crispy. Then added in all the sauce stuff plus some bean sprouts since I didn't have any water chestnuts. Also skipped the rice noodles and just sprinkled some chow mien noodles (not pictured) on top. The sauce was pretty much gone by the time I added the rice, so I made a quick dipping sauce, which we like with our lettuce wraps anyway. Everybody had seconds, even the kids!

There are a lot of flavorful ingredients in that one! It looks great. I've never had a lettuce wrap but that looks so gorgeous! I love the light in your picture.

Thanks! It's a nice (light) change up from a tortilla.

My kitchen window has about a 20 minute period every evening where the sun comes in like that and I always seem to miss it! Caught it this time lol!

Well, Marie, I never thought of that! Sometimes I want a sandwich and I am out of bread. I can't believe I didn't think of that. I'm going to try it! :-)
That's a great light you've got for picture taking for 20 minutes, ml2c.
