My Favorite And Easiest Red Seafood Sauce
    Shimp Rolls
Shrimp by waston, sauce by gkw.
I really had some problems with the "destructions" (as a friend of ours would say) on the shrimp rolls. I was very unclear how to roll them up so I just started smooshing them in there any way I could get the darn things folded up. Talk about destructing! :) Granted I did use wonton wrappers because I didn't think the shrimp I had could handle larger wrappers. Gave the recipe four stars only because of the instructions and lack of clear cooking time. How can you ruin shrimp deep fried in dough? Only make them look ugly. :)
I absolutely loved the seafood sauce! It was very good and more flavorful than I expected. Really tasty stuff! Shown is half of the recipe, as is usual for me.

Thanks so much Frankieanne for the comment on the sauce. I know what you mean about imagining it would taste too ketchup-y. But I love it too - I even like it as a dip for crackers and have a hard time getting myself stopped once I get started eating!

I don't have enough patience to caramelize onions properly, and I don't think I'd be brave enough to try this recipe either altho I love fried shrimp. I think I'd be in the "destructing" mode too! They DO look delicious. :) Save one for me?

There's a few left, gkw. I'll put a couple aside for you. :)
Thanks, Chuckieb. They were really good. I'd be interested to see how they come out for someone else.

OK! I'll hop in my faster-than-speed-of-sound jet and be right over for lunch! When you hear the sonic boom, you''ll know I'm on my way... :D
