Whipped Scotch Cookies

These are top notch. Daughter has declared these her favorite cookie. Light, melt in your mouth, not too sweet, lovely cookies. Her recipe rocks~! (and comes together so easily in stand mixer!)

I saved this recipe, but haven't had a chance to try it yet. Do you think it would work in a cookie press to make spritz cookies, or would the dough be too soft and make the cookies spread too much? They sound delicious!

Oh yum, these sound great! Bakerme you just reminded me that I have a cookie press lol! My MIL gave me one a couple years ago and I've never used it!

Time to break it out and give it a try, Ml2c! I haven't made spritz for a few years now, but I need to make them again. We love them and this is our favorite recipe: http://www.landolakes.com/recipe/1859/best-ever-spritz-cookie

Made these for the first time. DH just loves them! He can't stay out of them and every time he eats one he has to tell me how good they are. Thanks eastcoaster for sharing your recipe. 12/16/15

These are soooo good! It's the same recipe my Mom and Grandma have always used. I'm going out today to get candied cherries so I can top each cookie with them. A favorite holiday treat with all our extended family and inlaws too!
Melt in your mouth deee-lish! :)
