As the group is growing I thought it would be fun to find out a little about each of us and why we are "Lovin' NASCAR".

1. Favorite driver(s)?
2. How long have you been a NASCAR fan?
3. Have you been to a race, if so how many & where?
4. Who do you watch the races with?
5. What is your favorite track or race to watch?

1. Jeff Gordon, first of all. I've been a Hendrick girl from the start, and thought Dale Jr. was a punk who drove me crazy. I'm having a really big conundrum this season..
2. I went to college in Winston-Salem NC. I think it is illegal to live there and not like racing...or at least not widely accepted. I fell in love with the sport...and Jeff Gordon.
3. Haven't been to a race. Dream of going to Talladega someday.
4. Occasionally I watch them with my parents. My husband will watch with me when it is at Martinsville because he loves the wrecks.
5. I love watching Talladega and The Lady in Black. Both great tracks. And Daytona isn't too bad either.

Been a NASCAR fan for about 12 years. I go to 2 races EVERY year here at PIR (Phoenix International Raceway)One in April (a night race) and the other in November. I watch every single race with my 6 year old son and my husband.I don't have a favorite track. Just as long as it is FAST! I hate road races. TOO SLOW for me! I have met Jeff and Kasey both and have autographs pictures etc.Can't stand Jr. It's gonna be a very interesting season! GO JEFF!

1. Fav driver - Well, overall, Jeff Gordon fan here. But...............My hubbie has followed him since he came up in the ranks and Dale Sr. took him under his wings. I'm a newbie NASCAR fan and this last year rooted for Carl Edwards. Not only is he a local boy, but pretty well grounded.
2. I've been a NASCAR fan off and on for about 6 years. Since I met the love of my life. He's a big fan and before that, I just thought it was a bunch of guys following each other around on the track. Oh boy was I wrong.
3. I've never been to a race, hubbie has. We're close enough, but haven't been to KC track yet. From what I hear, it's not that exciting anyway.
4. Normally we go to our favorite watering hole and it's constant ribbing about who's driver is better, this last year was kind of tough and we spent alot of races with just Chuck and myself.
5. As far as favorite tracks - I love night races and road tracks. Of course Darlinton is always a favorite. Our greatest bitch is more and more Saturday races, though. We do love our Sunday race day. That's the way it's supposed to be.

As far as Jr being a teammate. ........................... Well ..................we'll just have to see !

#1 fav. driver.............TONY STEWART, Dale Sr., Dale Jr and also like Mike Waltrip, but TONY is #1 with me!
#2 How long have I been a fan?.....................For about 30 years
#3 I have never been to a race and would love to go However most friends that have been say you get to see more on tv, than at the track. We go to local races here in Canada though.
#4 I watch the race with my husband and kids, we all like different drivers! Makes it interesting around here.
#5 I like all tracks. road courses are harder to watch but interesting just the same!

Well I dont care for Jeff Gordon, Perfer to see Jimmy johnston turn Right.But it takes 43 Drivers.So glad to see them on race day. Go to Talladega every fall. Been to Lowes and Texas, love them all.

1. Favorite driver(s)? I absolutely love Smoke, used to be a Gordon Girl, but then I found Smoke. Still a 24 fan, he's just not at the top of my list anymore. I'm Gibbs all the way, gonna find it hard to pull for Shrub this year. Also like DJ (Hate to see him go, but glad he's following his dad's footsteps to the booth--might acutally be able to tolerate the 2nd half of the season this year. I'm not big on JJ. Hoping JR will fare better at H. There are just a few that I don't care for.

2. How long have you been a NASCAR fan? Steady now for 5 years. Went through a dry spell in the 90s, so I went from watching The King, Cale, Elliott, all those from that era, then when I found my way back, there was Smoke, Gordon and the other "new" guys.

3. Have you been to a race, if so how many & where? I found my way to Darlington twice a year back in the 80s. These days, I try to make the Atlanta races and Lowes. I'm just as close to Darlington--but since they moved the race to Mothers' Day Weekend, I'm not able to go to those. If it were possible, I'd be somewhere every weekend!! :-) My dream is to snag a job in the NASCAR arena somewhere.

4. Who do you watch the races with? Mostly with my dog Sandy. Occasionally with friends and when I make it to Atlanta, we do a full out girls weekend at the track.

5. What is your favorite track or race to watch? Any track Smoke wins!! I guess I don't particularlly have a "favorite". Those closest to me - Atlanta, Darlington, Lowes. I dream of getting to "The Beach" for all of Speed Weeks some day.
