    Definitely in this order, bottom bun,mayo, burger, onion, lettuce and tomato, mayo, salt and pepper, top bun. NO CATSUP, no pickle, no mustard. This is my mom's classic burger.

    Now, when I want a spicy burger, that's a whole other story. HMMMMM, pickled jalapeno mayonnaise sounds good.

    I love the double mayo too, but I like mine in a thick layer on the top bun. And sometimes I do put some mustard on there too.

    Okay...Bottom bun, mayo, burger,(got to have cheese).onion,tomato,pickle more mayo, and mustard....No lettuce, no catsup...I hate McDonalds but love the special sauce...

    If anyone has a recipe for it, I'd appreciate it...I've tried some already and can't get close to the real deal..

    Im normally a ketchup gal- and if I am lucky I will go for some mayo too, then of course it also must have extra bacon and cheese...oh then there is the crispy french fries..and napkins. I shouldnt do this so early in the am for me... I havent had breakfast yet... and its too early for lunch.... and burgers is something I indulge in only a few times a year...then Wynne had to go and mention MceeDee's - yikes....

    I found several versions of MceeDee's special sauce online - some suggest to use hydrated onions that are then reconstituted (or dry onion flakes) also the use of miracle whip was also noted as well as leaving it in the fridge to let flavors 'meld'

    Ingredients
    # 1/2 cup mayonnaise
    # 2 tablespoons French dressing
    # 4 teaspoons sweet pickle relish
    # 1 tablespoon finely minced white onion
    # 1 teaspoon white vinegar
    # 1 teaspoon sugar
    # 1/8 teaspoon salt

    Directions:
    1. Combine all ingredients in bowl and mix well.
    2. Place sauce in covered container and refrigerate for a few hours, or overnight to allow flavors to blend.
    3. Stir before serving

    version 2
    1 c Miracle whip
    1/3 c Relish sweet
    1/3 c French dressing kraft orange
    1 tb Sugar
    1/4 ts Black pepper
    1 ts Dry minced onion

    Version 3
    INGREDIENTS:

    * 1/4 cup salad dressing (like Miracle Whip®)
    * 1/4 cup mayonnaise
    * 3 tbsp French salad dressing

    * 1 1/2 tbsp dill pickle relish
    * 1 tsp sugar
    * 1 tsp dried, minced onion
    * 1 tsp white vinegar
    * 1 tsp ketchup
    * 1/8 tsp salt

    PREPARATION:

    1. Mix all ingredients, and stir well in a small container.

    2. Microwave on high for 25 seconds, and stir well again.

    3. Cover, and refrigerate at least 1 hour before serving.
