How to make it

  • Roll out dough to double hand size.In middle of dough place filling (any).Fold over and seal edge.Brush butter and egg mixture along edge to seal.Lay each side down in plate of sugar and place in hot grease.Brown each side remove and let set. Serve or wrap each pie to go.

    my mom would make these when i was little and we would gobble them up. She also took them to work and sold them for extra money for us....they always sold out ....thanks for the nice memory and i am going to make these soon.

    As a child my grandmother's housekeeper, more like second nana, made something very similiar to this for a special treat when we came to see my grandparents..Good memories since both have passed away...Thank you for the share and HAPPY 4TH!
