Banana pancakes with Honey Pecan Butter

Was looking through cookbooks yesterday and found this in Taste of Home's Holiday and Celebrations Cookbook...One of my son's favorite foods is pancakes so I can't wait to make these for him.
Ingredients
- honey pecan butter shopping list
- 1/2 cup butter, softened shopping list
- 1/4 cup honey shopping list
- 1/3 cup chopped pecans, toasted shopping list
- Pancakes shopping list
- 1 cup flour shopping list
- 2 tbls. sugar shopping list
- 2 tsp. baking powder shopping list
- 1/2 tsp. salt shopping list
- 1/8 tsp. cinnamon shopping list
- 1 egg shopping list
- 1 cup milk shopping list
- 1 cup mashed ripe bananas shopping list
- 3 tbls. canola oil shopping list
- 2 tsp. lemon juice shopping list
- Maple syrup shopping list
How to make it
- Butter
- In small bowl, beat butter and honey until smooth
- Stir in pecans, then set aside
- Pancakes
- In large bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, salt and cinnamon
- In small bowl, whisk egg, milk, bananas, oil and lemon juice
- Stir into dry ingredients until combined
- Pour batter by 1/4 cup onto greased hot griddle
- Turn when bubbles form on top
- Cook until second side is golden brown
- Serve with honey pecan butter and syrup
