Pasta and Broccoli

Growing up this was always one of my favorite dishes that my grandma would make. I did my best to estimate the amount of ingredients, so feel free to adjust them to your liking. Grandma's always measure things with a pinch of this or a handful of that!
Ingredients
- 2 cloves garlic, shopping list
- 3 Tbsp olive oil shopping list
- 1 Tbsp parmesan cheese shopping list
- 1 head broccoli, chopped shopping list
- 1 lb macaroni shopping list
How to make it
- Fry garlic in oil until yellow in color...do not brown or it will be bitter.
- Bring water to a boil in a large pot and add broccoli.
- When water comes to a second boil, add pasta.
- Drain pasta (but save a cup or two of pasta water) and add to garlic and oil.
- Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
- Add pasta water a little at a time, if needed.
