Tootsie Roll Cheesecake

Credit to Jett2whit for the inspiration. I have adapted her recipe closer to the formula I use. This has been a hit at the restaurant. Sweet-sweet!!
Ingredients
- chocolate crust-see crust page. shopping list
- 1 1/2 pounds Philly cream cheese, softened shopping list
- 3/4 cup sugar shopping list
- 3 large eggs shopping list
- 9 ounces Tootsie roll, melted shopping list
- 2 Tbsp. light corn syrup shopping list
- 2 Tbsp. melted butter shopping list
- 2 Tbsp. orange juice shopping list
- 1/4 cup heavy cream shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to 350^.
- Cut Tootsie Rolls into small pieces.
- Melt TRs in sauce pan with corn syrup.
- Set aside but keep warm, cover with towel.
- Blend cream cheese and sugar until smooth.
- Add eggs one at a time.
- Add melted TRs, they may solidify a bit but keep blending.
- Add butter and orange juice, then cream, mixing thoroughly.
- Pour into prepared pan.
- Bake at 350^ for 1 1/4 hours.
- Let cool and refrigerate before serving.
